About the Program

This pilot is a school‑based, advisor‑led club that runs across the school year. Modular, ready‑to‑teach sessions fit advisory, after‑school, or flex periods. Students participate in a four‑part workshop series plus hands‑on experiences and a statewide culminating event in Spring.

Educator Rising Clubs are a Hawaiʻi P‑20 initiative with HIDOE and UH campuses. Clubs meet during/after school, guided by an advisor, and connect members to classroom observations, teacher mentors, and statewide events—including a “Pledge to Teach” celebration.

  • Learning Modules: Classroom culture, lesson basics, child development, and professional skills.
  • Experiences: Shadow days, guest speakers, micro‑teaching, showcases/competitions.
