Building relationships and learning how to strategically communicate are essential components to increasing strong family and community engagement within a school’s college and career readiness program. This course is designed to help participants identify family/community needs and roadblocks for increasing family engagement in a student’s learning experience, develop strategies for communicating with families grade 6-12th, and identify practical strategies that can be implemented at their school to improve student outcomes.
